Bailey Robinson: From Apprentice to Sales Office Manager — A Six Year Success Story
Albion Valves (UK) Ltd are proud to announce the promotion of Bailey Robinson to Sales Office Manager, recognising the hard work and dedication shown throughout almost 6 years at the company.
Bailey first started at Albion as a Sales Administrator Apprentice in November 2020 (during the COVID pandemic), studying Level 3 Business Administration. Throughout his apprenticeship, Bailey's work ethic and willingness to learn were evident. Bailey spent 5 weeks in the warehouse due to staff shortages, gaining hands-on product knowledge and a deeper understanding of Albion’s operations.
Just three weeks into his apprenticeship, Bailey identified an opportunity to improve Albion’s invoicing system. As part of his apprenticeship coursework, he led the transition to a fully paperless invoicing process, saving Albion significant time, postage, stationery, and printing costs.
His achievements earned him a Distinction, as well as the Apprentice of the Year Award at the Barnsley & Rotherham Business Awards
After completing his apprenticeship seven months ahead of schedule, Bailey accepted a full-time role as Sales Administrator at Albion. Over the years, he has become a key member of the Internal Sales Team, known for his reliability, customer focus, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Last week, Bailey stepped into the role of Sales Office Manager, where he will oversee the Internal Sales Team and ensure Albion continues to deliver the first-class service that customers expect.
For the next few weeks, Bailey will be settling into his new role and preparing to lead his team through Albion’s next phase of growth.
Bailey’s story is a testament to Albion’s apprenticeship culture. Former apprentices have gone on to secure long-term careers within the business, including Bailey’s brother, Ethan, who joined the Warehouse Team a year after Bailey had started his career with Albion and remains with the company today.
Bailey comments, ‘I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities Albion Valves (UK) Ltd has given me over the past six years. Looking back, it's hard to believe how much has happened since I joined as an apprentice in 2020.
Since then, I've been fortunate to work alongside a fantastic team who have supported my development every step of the way.
Stepping into the Sales Office Manager role is something I'm extremely proud of, and I'm excited for the challenge ahead. I want to create an environment where the team feels supported, confident, and empowered to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
I hope my journey shows what can be achieved through hard work, a willingness to learn, and the opportunities that an apprenticeship can provide. I'm looking forward to this next chapter and helping others develop their own careers at Albion.’
With Bailey now stepping into the management role, Albion is once again looking to welcome a new Sales Administrator Apprentice to join the Internal Sales Team and begin their own journey.
Lee Petty, Albion’s Commercial Director, comments, ‘I am delighted to announce the promotion of Bailey to Sales Office Manager at Albion Valves (UK) Ltd. This is a thoroughly well-deserved achievement, and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and professionalism Bailey has consistently demonstrated in his time at Albion.
Over the past six years at Albion, Bailey has made a significant and lasting contribution to the business. He has consistently led by example, supported his colleagues, and approached every challenge with positivity, determination, and a genuine commitment to continuously improving how we work.
Bailey has earned the respect and trust of everyone he works with through his integrity, reliability, and willingness to regularly go above and beyond. I am incredibly pleased to see him take this next step in his career and have every confidence that he will continue to excel in his new role and make an even greater contribution to the continued success of Albion Valves (UK) Ltd.’
