TMV2 / TMV3 / WRAS Approved Thermostatic Mixing Valves now in stock at Albion

Albion Valves (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of its new ART 35 Thermostatic Mixing Valve range, delivering TMV2, TMV3 and WRAS approved solutions for safe and controlled hot water in healthcare, education, commercial and domestic applications.

The new range consists of two models:

  • ART 35 – 2-in-1 Thermostatic Mixing Valve with compression connections
  • ART 35SV – 4-in-1 Thermostatic Mixing Valve with compression integral service valves

Both valves are approved to:

  • TMV2 for domestic and general commercial use
  • TMV3 for high-risk applications such as hospitals, healthcare facilities and care homes
  • WRAS for compliance on potable water systems

This combination of approvals makes the ART 35 range suitable for a broad range of projects where documented performance and third-party certification are required.

 Designed to minimise scald risk

These Thermostatic Mixing Valves are designed for applications where controlled mixed water temperatures are essential to minimise the risk of scalding. Typical installations include:

  • Hospitals and healthcare facilities
  • Care homes and assisted living environments
  • Schools, colleges and universities
  • Public buildings, leisure facilities and other high-use washrooms

When correctly selected, installed and maintained as part of an appropriate system design, the valves support compliance with current hot water safety guidance, including HTM 04-01 and NHS Model Engineering Specification D08.

 Key features

The ART 35 and ART 35SV provide:

  • Thermostatic control of mixed water temperature
  • Fail-safe operation in the event of hot or cold supply failure
  • Stable outlet temperature under varying supply pressures and temperatures
  • Compact body design suitable for tight installation spaces
  • Option of integral service valves (ART 35SV) to simplify isolation, commissioning and maintenance

 Easy to specify and install

To support designers and installers, Albion has made a full set of technical resources available on its website, including:

  • Product datasheets
  • Installation, operation and maintenance (IOM) manuals
  • BIM components for digital design and coordination
